what is the best knife to carry into combat?
im going to afghanistan in a few days n looking for a knife to put on my flack. im in the usmc so im thinking i was going to get a KA-BAR because i know there a really good knife im just wondering what peole think would be the best.
The Marines will issue you a KaBar knife/bayonet. That is all you will need. Just be thankful you are a Marine, the other branches don’t issue bayonets.
Responding to the USAF guy, if you get close enough to use a bayonet you d@mned well better be a Marine. No other branch teaches you to kill with a bayonet.
But, knives have various functions.
